- Displays "classes" of drugs, e.g. "oral hypoglycemic agents" with relative cost to assist the physician in choosing a medication
- Maintains physician's preferred formulation and dosage for each medication to simplify Rx.
- For each Insurance Company, notifies physician when a drug requires pre-certification or is not on the formulary.
