Patient Demographics

- Maintains demographic information on the patient, e.g. address, telephone numbers, email address, date of birth, social security number, referring physician, primary physician, primary diagnosis, date of first and most recent visit, next recall month, type of standard "template" (see medical record), etc.
- Allows guarantors to be assigned to one or more patients
- Maintains insurance information for patient (and/or guarantor)
- Stores the patient's email address, as well as a unique email ID to allow a physician to send encrypted email to the patient, thus ensuring privacy.
- Maintains appointment and recall history for patient
- Can record HIPPA compliance
