Disease Management for Diagnoses

Whenever a diagnosis is entered into part , then in part the system automatically displays:

  1. Any national standards of care, procedures, medications, tests and therapies recommended for the diagnosis, and allows the physician to order any of these with a mere click. (see figure A)

  2. Diagnostic criteria, recommended therapies and expected outcomes derived from the iConsult Database from Elsevier, which is updated quarterly. (see figure B)

  3. Any notes the physician has gleaned from reference materials, lectures, etc that have been associated with the diagnosis.

Disease Management for Medications

Whenever a medication is entered into part , then:

  1. The system automatically shows any potential drug-drug or drug-diagnosis interactions, and also warns of any potential allergic reactions based on the patients medical history. (see figure A)

  2. Part automatically displays Drug Information and side-effects for the selected drug. (see figure B)

  3. Part automatically displays any notes the physician has gleaned from reference materials, lectures, etc that have been associated with a medication.
